McLaren Vancouver and Pfaff Reserve are pleased to present our first track day of 2020 on September 19, 2020. It’s a great opportunity to explore the limits of your high-performance vehicle – and your own.

At Area 27, a state-of-the-art facility in the BC interior designed by legendary racer Jacques Villeneuve, you’ll experience one of the most challenging and rewarding racetracks in North America.

Some of our protocols have changed due to COVID-19, so please read the details below carefully.

Product Description

Pre and Post Inspection. Please note that a pre and post vehicle inspection is mandatory for your vehicle to be on track. Upon registration, our service department will be in touch with you to book a pre-track inspection.

Before the track day. We have made changes to our events in an attempt to keep everyone safe, and to respect social-distancing guidelines related to COVID-19. If an attendee develops fever, cough, or other symptoms of possible COVID19 infection, prior to, at or en route to the event, attendee should refrain from coming/participating at event and seek medical attention instead.

How should I prepare my car? Please prepare your vehicle for safe track use. Ensure there are no loose items inside the vehicle, and that your vehicle is mechanically fit for track use. We can assist by performing a technical inspection of your vehicle. Remove all loose objects from inside the vehicle and the trunk at the beginning of the day.

What can I expect? Please plan on arriving at the track from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

Upon arrival at the track, please park your vehicle in the paddock area and enter into the clubhouse for registration. Please only 2-3 guests at a time to sign the event waiver and obtain a wrist band. Then proceed to paddock, park, and maintain social distancing. Sessions are broken into run groups for beginner, intermediate, and advanced drivers.

There will be a formal drivers meeting and “classroom” session for the beginner group. A bagged lunch and water is provided for all drivers.

Please maintain social distance at all times during the event, wear a mask if you are unable to maintain distance, and clean your hands often. There is a 1-person limit in washrooms. Sanitize or wash hands prior to departure.

Can I bring friends? Guests are permitted; however, there is a cost of $50 per person.

What clothing should I wear? Please wear casual and comfortable clothes, and appropriate driving footwear (closed toe, soft sole). Long trousers are required for the day; shorts are not permitted. We also always recommend that our guests pack a sweater or a jacket, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen, especially for track side activities. Please bring your helmet, as rental helmets are not available for this time. Rental helmets are available which are prepped beforehand and thoroughly sanitized after each use.

Can I take photographs? Are drones and GoPros allowed? During the event we may be taking photos and videos of the experience, please feel free to bring your own photo or video camera with you. Untethered exterior mounted cameras or drones are NOT permitted.

What about gas? There is a Petro Canada located 4 minutes north of the facility for you to refuel or a Chevron north-west in Oliver which is about 6 minutes away.

Cancellation policy. We ask you to understand that Pfaff incurs numerous expenses with these track experiences in reliance upon your attendance as registered. Pfaff Track Days are non-refundable. Should you wish to transfer your track package to someone else we will be happy to accommodate that change.
