Five minutes with Britt Casey Jr., Pfaff/Compass Racing RS3 LMS driverJan 17th, 2018
On competing in the Continental Tire Challenge:
This will be my fifth year of competition in the Continental Tire Challenge. I began my racing career in go-karts and moved on to amateur road racing competition; I’ve been racing professionally since I was 16.
The highlight of my racing career thus far was Road American in 2017. My entire family was able to celebrate on the podium with me, and it was great to share that moment as a family.
On the Audi RS3 LMS:
The RS3 LMS is a true Audi; it has a very high level of grip. The high-speed cornering ability of the RS3 stands out most while on the track. I love the seating position- we sit very far back and low, which I enjoy and which improves the dynamics of the car.
On the 2018 racing season:
Sharing a car with another driver is an important part of endurance racing. Finding a happy medium between the two drivers is a part of what makes co-drivers successful together.
The Continental series visits racetracks across North America, and I am most looking forward to the race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course the most. It is a new track on our schedule, and only three hours away from Miami University, where I’m a student.
All three of our Pfaff/Compass Racing Audi RS3s are going to be strong this year – and in fact, I think our strongest competition will be our teammates!
