On Sunday, October 15, Pfaff Porsche hosted its second annual GTA urban ramble with the Porsche Club of America – Upper Canada Region. The idea for the ramble was to expose Porsche drivers new and old to some great driving roads in the city that they may not have experienced before, and demonstrate that you don’t need to travel far out of town for an entertaining drive.

The Pfaff Porsche team mapped out an entertaining route that started at Pfaff Porsche and took a group of approximately 20 cars through some urban streets that provide driving pleasure without high speeds.

The day began with with coffee and refreshments at Pfaff Porsche’s new facility at 105 Four Valley Drive in Vaughan, at 8:00 am. The showroom, vintage car showroom, service department and lounges were open for tours and show-and-tell. The drive began at 9:30 am and took us across the top of Toronto to some scenic, entertaining roads east of the city before a rest stop and photo opportunity at the Scarborough Bluffs.

From there, we cruised towards downtown Toronto, and strung together some of our favourite freeway on-and-off ramps before taking a couple of scenic roads that land us at the Miller Tavern on Yonge St., in time for a late lunch.

Members of the Pfaff Porsche team joined us on the drive in a variety of vintage Porsche vehicles and were on hand to answer any questions. Despite some iffy weather at the start, it was a great day for everyone involved, and we look forward to next year’s event!
