2016 Toyota Yaris Sedan | New Tech comes to Toyota’s subcompactOct 12nd, 2015
The 2016 Toyota Yaris has been redesigned with technology in mind. Now, more features than ever are being offered on Toyota’s subcompact sedan, including a new multimedia interface and lots of standard features. Cruise control, power windows and locks, and push button start are now all standard on the Yaris. Not bad considering it’s starting price of just $16, 995. For that, you get a great 6-speed manual transmission and 1.5L four-cylinder engine. A six-speed automatic with sport mode is also available.
“This is more than a new car with a familiar name,” said Larry Hutchinson, Vice President at Toyota Canada Inc. “Canadians love the efficiency and nimble performance of subcompacts – and the all-new Yaris Sedan gives drivers even more – much more – of what they love. Whether running errands in the downtown core, or taking a day-trip on the open road, the new Yaris Sedan is built to surprise drivers with premium details and unexpected driving fun.”
For the more tech-savvy buyers, you can add the premium package, which gives you the Display Audio system with 7″ touch screen, 6 speaker audio, two USB ports, heated front seats, alloy wheels, fog lamps, and a back up camera. The new Yaris is everything you wouldn’t expect from a subcompact. On sale now at Hallmark Toyota.
