While we love nothing more at Pfaff BMW than handing over the keys to a happy customer at the dealership, we are also in love with BMW’s German homeland, where the cars are designed and built, where the beer and schnitzel is delicious, and where the speed limits – at least on some roads – are nonexistent.

BMW’s European Delivery program, available for vehicles produced in Germany, allows you to meet your new vehicle at the beautiful BMW Welt (BMW World) delivery centre, enjoy exclusive tours of BMW facilities, take your new vehicle for its first spin across the famed Autobahn, and go on a European adventure behind the wheel of your own car. After you’re done, your car will be shipped back to Canada, where we will prepare it for you to pick up.

Specify European Delivery when ordering your car, and your sales consultant will work with the factory to determine a vehicle collection date and time. Upon arrival in Munich, you can book a BMW shuttle, which will pick you up at the central train station or the airport. The driver will take you directly to BMW Welt, where you will receive a ticket that gains you access to the individual experience areas, and includes a voucher for the restaurants and shops.

Once you arrive – 90 minutes or so before your delivery in order for BMW’s experts to help you plan the rest of your day – you will receive your car briefing in the unique Product Info Centre. This is a one-of-a-kind demonstration that, with the aid of films and multimedia applications, your personal attendant will brief you on all the important functions and equipment features of your car. Your personal attendant will pick you up at the lounge before the briefing, and then, in the spacious atmosphere of the BMW Welt delivery area, your new BMW will be presented to you.

You can participate in a guided tour of the BMW Munich plant Monday through Friday, even after you have picked up your car. A visit to the BMW Museum also offers a unique experience, and you will be presented with newly designed, significantly larger exhibition spaces.

European maps will be automatically loaded on your BMW’s navigation system when you pick up your car. It will also be registered and delivered with  German tourist licence plates. The plates are valid for the period indicated on the registration documents and licence plates. BMW provides 14 days of premium insurance and tourist registration at no additional cost; however, should you decide to extend this, additional coverage is available for purchase in 30‐day increments.

Once you have finished your trip, simply drop off your car at an approved location (your sales consultant can provide you with a complete list). For more information, click here.
