Pre-Christmas honour for the TECHART GrandGT. The successful design line for the Porsche Panamera was voted from more than 70,000 readers of the German magazine Auto Bild Sportscars as the number one in the category “sedan tuning” of the annual “sports car of the year” readers choice.

“I am proud to receive this prestigious award and I am delighted to accept it on behalf of the entire TECHART team. The fourth year in a row we are the number one of the Auto Build Sports cars readers. This is a honour for our daily work and our ambition and passion to turn something extraordinary into something unique”, told TECHART CEO Thomas Behringer.

The award-winning car is being shown at the TECHART booth in hall 3 of the Essen Motor Show until the 4th of December 2011. Equipped with the new TECHART power kit TA 070/T2 and a overall performance of 464 kW (630 hp) and a maximum torque of 880 Nm the sporty sedan reaches the 100 km/h in 3.7 seconds. After 12.3 the needle passes the 200 km/h mark – with a top speed of 326 km/h.
