PORSCHE CANADA SHATTERS SALES RECORDS IN APRIL

MISSISSAUGA, May 3, 2011 – Porsche Cars Canada (PCL), importer and distributor of Porsche vehicles in Canada, today reported total April sales of 323 units, up 44% from April 2010’s total of 225. It was the first month in the company’s history where over 300 vehicles were sold, topping by 17% the previous all-time record of 276 vehicles, set in May 2005. The new Cayenne destroyed the previous single-month sales record, accounting for just over half of overall sales; the Panamera, on sale since October 2009, also set a new sales record. 80 Certified Pre-Owned vehicles were sold in April 2011. At the end of the first four months of 2011, Porsche had sold 845 vehicles, almost 250 ahead of last year’s pace.
