December 1st marks the end of Movember for yet another year over here at Pfaff Audi. Which means our male employees felt an extra chill on their freshly-shaved upper lips this morning when they came into work! Although “Movember” is a good cause, it is not nearly long enough to raise enough awareness for this disease. In 2011 alone, 25,500 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer, and 4,100 of them will die from this disease. The fact is, 90% of prostate cancer cases are curable if they are detected and treated in the early stages. By raising awareness for this cause, more people can beat this disease! Pfaff Audi raised money and awareness which contributed to the overall amount of $36.5 million raised across Canada. Hopefully the month long “mo” on men all over the world brought enough awareness for the cause. Until next year Movember, we bid you adieu!
