MISSISSAUGA, September 1, 2011 – Porsche Cars Canada (PCL), importer and distributor of Porsche vehicles in Canada, today reported August sales of 175 units, a gain of 31% from August 2010’s record total of 134. While the sales growth was balanced, with all model lines showing increases – sports cars were up 73% over last August – the new Cayenne continues to be constrained by supply. 64 Certified Pre-Owned vehicles were sold in August 2011, just short of August 2010’s record of 68 units. Year to date, Porsche has sold 1,771 vehicles, up 31% over the same period in 2010.
