Pfaff at Monterey Car Week: Porsche
With over 30,000 racing victories to its credit – and counting – the Porsche 911 is the world’s winningest racing car. So it’s no surprise that they were everywhere in Monterey – on the roads that criss-cross the peninsula, on the racetrack, and in the many historical displays around the area.
From the exclusive Porsche Zentrum at the Quail Lodge, to the amazing Werks Reunion hosted by the Porsche Club of America, to the free-to-the-public Exotics on Cannery Row event on Friday night, Porsche vehicles were everywhere. Their presence was most felt at the historic races at Laguna Seca, where not only did a number of vintage Porsche race cars make it onto the track, but where the original Le Mans-winning 1970 917 was displayed alongside the 2015 919 Hybrid.
And rather than spend many more paragraphs describing their presence, we thought we’d show you instead. Enjoy!
