Pfaff Autoworks receives Audi Aluminum certification
Pfaff Autoworks is now certified under the Audi All Model and Aluminum Collision Program. A recent award ceremony took place at the company’s location to celebrate their new certification.
Jeff Pabst, general manager of Pfaff Autoworks, says his team passed the intensive two-week training course for technicians with flying colours. Two techs were sent to training on two different occasions, and had to complete five different tests. The welds completed during the tests were sent to a laboratory for testing; and where a 50 per cent failure rate is common, Pfaff Autoworks’ techs passed first time.
We’re now certified for the full line of Audi vehicles. This winter the new Q7 will debut with a hybrid aluminum and high-strength steel body construction – a game-changer for the segment, but also with its own specific requirements for repairs.
Pfaff Autoworks has also achieved certification for the Volkswagen Collision Repair Program and is the first facility to do so in Canada.
