Hallmark Toyota is bringing Scion to Orangeville (VIDEO)

Hallmark Toyota, your community driven dealership, is proud to announce that we’re bringing the Scion brand to the Orangeville area this summer.

Built with the same durability, quality, and reliability as Toyota vehicles, by the same talented associates, Scion is nevertheless a unique and interesting alternative to the larger mainstream car brands. Scion’s not the biggest, and doesn’t want to be. But it wants to provide a unique and better alternative that’s right for today’s new car buyers.

Scion cars stand apart. From the start, the brand’s designers recognized that most small cars had no style or substance; that they were just plain boring. Scion set out to break the rules and stand apart from other car brands, knowing that drivers wanted more than just an affordable car; they wanted something to express their individuality and fit their lifestyle.

We’ll be launching the Scion brand in Orangeville with three models, with a fourth following this fall:

The bold and aggressive Scion TC is made for high energy, physically active, competitors, with its sporty design and 179 horsepower engine, and plenty of room for gear.

For self-expressive creative types, there’s the edgy and versatile Scion xB, with a distinctive silhouette, 6-speaker Pioneer audio system and 60/40 split folding rear seats for carrying equipment and supplies.

Finally, for need-for-speed, thrill-seekers, there’s the sleek, performance-driven, adrenaline-injecting Scion FR-S, with pulse-racing features like 6-speed transmission, rear-wheel drive and a boxer engine.

Later this year, we’ll launch the Scion iM. This five-door hatchback has sporty handling, loads of cargo room, and a full complement of premium features and amenities, all of which come standard – making it the ideal addition to our roster of smaller cars with big personalities.

Hallmark’s Scion efforts will be led by Michelle Ashton, our new Scion Champion. A native of Shelburne that now lives in Orangeville, Michelle is an avid sports fanatic that plays hockey in the winter and baseball three times a week in the summer. She comes to us from Blackstock Ford, where she worked as a sales representative and specialized in accessorizing and tuning vehicles – something crucial for the Scion brand.

Michelle, who graduated with a marketing degree from Sheridan College, is excited about the opportunity to bring Scion to the Orangeville market. “I think what’s so unique and interesting about this is that, in a lot of ways, we’ll be learning about Scion as the community learns about it alongside us. And the great thing about Scion vehicles is that they’re affordable – and accessible to a younger demographic. Most sports cars, are priced out of reach of the people they’re targeted at. We have a really unique opportunity here to build something special.”
